Weight Gain Diet Lessons

The following article goes through some of the nutritional advice given to the St. Louis Rams draftees.

Football Training table.

As stated in the article, if you expect to accomplish anything with your physique goals, whether that is gaining weight or losing it, you have to learn how to eat. It is more common to fail because you never learn how to eat rather than anything you are doing wrong at the gym.

For most people seeking change, the weight training is the easy part while the diet is the hard part.

Some great tips in the article, a few of note:

1) Lean, red meat can be a good thing.
2) Chicken wings are a bad thing (but chicken breast is still a good thing).
3) Carbs are the best fuel for your body
4) There is a good way and a bad way to gain weight

Muscle Building Stem Cells

Interesting research on muscle-building stem cells here.

I'd guess it won't be long before the supplement companies jump on this research and "claim" that their "scientists" have discovered a break-through stem-cell replenishing natural supplement. These supplements will be basic vitamins and won't effect anyone's stem cells. But they will sell to people desperate to build muscle.

Same thing that happened with the myostatin supplements.

Someday though, this will be a reality and won't just be used to treat the muscle-wasting diseases. It will be used by bodybuilders and athletes. What's coming down the road will make steroids look like kids-play.

Check out the supplements that actually do something here: Bodybuilding Supplement Guide.
